• Draw a circle: Start by sketching a perfect circle to represent the shape of the soccer ball.

• Add surrounding pentagons: Draw five more pentagons around the central pentagon, connecting their sides with the central pentagon’s sides. Make sure they are evenly spaced and share one side with the central pentagon.
• Draw hexagons: Between the pentagons, draw hexagons (six-sided polygons) by connecting their sides to the adjacent pentagons’ sides. Fill the entire circle with the pattern, which should consist of 12 pentagons and 20 hexagons.
• Enhance the pattern: Outline the pentagons and hexagons with slightly curved lines to create the illusion of a 3D, spherical shape. This will make your soccer ball drawing look more realistic.
