About the Deer
The deer is the original “mixed bag” animal.
On one hand, it will charm you with its grace and elegance. It has a gentle or even friendly manner, and is fascinating to watch.
Deer are also fascinating by their own right: they have the most diverse diet of any land mammal in North America, including such things as bark and tree leaves. And because deer eat so many plants that humans consider weeds, they act as a sort of natural weed-control service for farmers who share their habitats.
